What is Water Verify?

Water Verify provides independent at-home test kits that help homeowners and renters understand whether lead is present in their drinking water. Our process is designed to be simple, reliable, and easy to complete from home.

Testing is recommended for anyone who wants clarity about their drinking water, especially:

  • Homes built before 1986
  • Households that have received a municipal lead notice
  • Families with children or pregnant individuals
  • Renters who want independent confirmation of water quality

Each kit includes:

Everything you need is included, no additional supplies required.

Once your sample is collected:

Results & Next Steps

You’ll receive a secure lab report by email. The report clearly explains whether lead was detected and at what level.

Although Water Verify does not sell water treatment products, if lead is detected, your results email will include guidance on next steps and additional testing options.

No. Water Verify focuses solely on testing and reporting. This ensures our results remain independent and unbiased.

Accuracy, Safety & Trust

No. Lead is colorless, odorless, and tasteless. Testing is the only way to know if it’s present.

Yes – when analyzed by certified laboratories. Unlike basic DIY strips, Water Verify’s samples are processed using lab-grade methods to provide certified, accurate, dependable results.

The EPA states that there is no safe level of lead exposure. Testing helps identify whether lead is present so informed decisions can be made.
